Data for standardization of faecal microbiota transplantation protocols
The study “Systematic review with meta-analysis: review of donor features, procedures and outcomes in 168 clinical studies of faecal microbiota transplantation” comprehensively examines donor characteristics and screening protocols as well as faecal microbiota transplantation procedures and outcomes. It provides the most comprehensive and up‐to‐date data that can facilitate standardisation of faecal microbiota transplantation protocols for various diseases (Aliment Pharmacol Ther. 2019 Feb;49(4):354-363. doi: 10.1111/apt.15116. Epub 2019 Jan 9).
Anyone interested in future collaboration in this field of research is welcome to contact our key investigator, Prof Siew Ng of our Department of Medicine and Therapeutics. Prof Ng is an international expert in the study of inflammatory bowel diseases. Her research interests focus on epidemiological, genetics and microbiota studies of the diseases.
