
On 24 June 2026, the SFL Intern Survival Workshop equipped our newest medical graduates with the essential tools for a successful housemanship. This flagship programme serves as a vital bridge, transforming medical school theory into the fast-paced reality of clinical practice.

On 7 February 2026, the Faculty of Medicine at CUHK hosted a memorable Medical Alumni Homecoming Day, followed by a Poon Choi Dinner, bringing together over 400 medical alumni and their families to share a special moment of joy and nostalgia on the CU campus. Additionally, a wonderful musical performance was brought by Dr. TSO Kwok Chu (MBChB 1999) and Dr. Jackie FU (MBChB 2001), offering an excellent auditory and visual experience for all attendees.
The Faculty of Medicine recently hosted the “Change: A New Chapter Begins” alumni gathering on 17 January 2026, marking a milestone for CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC). Over 50 medical alumni met Dr. CHUNG Kin Lai, CEO of CUHKMC, and his management team.

The Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Sharing Session themed “When the Anesthesia Machine Lacks an Oxygen Mask,” co-organized by MSF Hong Kong and CUHK Faculty of Medicine, drew an overwhelming response, with approximately 60 medical alumni and students participating. The session offered a unique platform to share insights into humanitarian work and the experiences of professionals operating in some of the most challenging environments worldwide.
