CUHK-UOS Joint Research Programme

Since the establishment of the CUHK-UOS Joint Laboratory for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, our School of Biomedical Sciences has hosted three PhD students from the University of Southampton to receive training and conduct research projects at the joint laboratory, with a focus on stem cells, developmental biology and regenerative medicine, and the related translational research. Under the supervision of Prof Kenneth Lee, co-director, and Prof Chao Wan, these students got the opportunity to acquire core and specialized research techniques not commonly available at other institutions.

We are greatly encouraged by the success and progress of this collaboration between our two institutions and look forward to sharing more news with you in the future.
