2018 Update of Consensus on Non-variceal Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding
Since the last publication of the Asia-Pacific consensus on non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding 7 years ago, there have been significant advancements in the clinical management of patients. In this “Asia-Pacific working group consensus on non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding: an update 2018”, the Asia-Pacific Working Group examined recent evidence and recommends updates on the practical management guidelines (Gut. 2018 Apr 24. pii: gutjnl-2018-316276. doi: 10.1136/gutjnl-2018-316276. Anyone interested in future collaboration in this field of research is welcome to contact our key investigator, Prof Joseph Sung. Prof Sung was the seventh Vice-Chancellor and President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and his research interests include intestinal bleeding, Helicobacter Pylori, peptic ulcer and colorectal cancer. He has published over 700 articles in leading scientific journals.
