Clinical Research Laboratories
The Clinical Research Laboratories constitute a research unit within the CUHK Faculty of Medicine. Together, these joint-user laboratories are used by the clinical teaching departments at the Prince of Wales Hospital. Users include both academic and research staff and postgraduate students. This multi-disciplinary research unit is unique in Hong Kong, and its set-up encourages the exchange of ideas and experiences across various areas of clinical expertise. The arrangement also enables the sharing of equipment, research facilities and support services. Users of the Clinical Research Laboratories come from all clinical departments within the Faculty of Medicine.
The central facilities in which they are housed provide users with space, communal equipment, laboratory supplies, research facilities and general laboratory support, and technical assistance.
