Two students of GPS have their manuscript accepted by the International Journal of Cardiology (IJC)
Congratulations to Candy and Prilla! Two students of GPS have their manuscript accepted by the International Journal of Cardiology (IJC) recently. This study aimed to evaluate the determinants of medication adherence and blood pressure control among hypertensive patients in Hong Kong.
Professor Martin Wong, the mentors of Candy and Prilla, remarked the mentorship programme as a conducive way to identify mentees' strengths. 'A closer relationship of mentor and mentee not only provides room to enhance student’s leadership quality, also enables student to explore their interest and develop their strengths'. In addition to the high academic potentials, Candy and Prilla exhibit an exceptional talent in research, which is now ascertained by their distinguished achievement made.
The manuscript is entitled as "Determinants of medication adherence and blood pressure control among hypertensive patients in Hong Kong: a cross-sectional study", co-authored by two students of GPS, Candy Kang and Prilla Tsang. Please click here for the manuscript and visit the Faculty website for more details. Let us share the joy with Professor Wong, Candy and Prilla!
