Congratulations to Ms LEUNG, Choy May for being awarded the Young Investigator Award in the Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2016, the most prestigious digestive disease conference in the world.

This serves to recognise her efforts in researching the healing of newly diagnosed patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) across six countries in Asia.

May’s mentor Professor Siew Ng is internationally renowned for pioneering the Asia-Pacific First IBD Epidemiologic Study Group involving 14 countries.
