Professor Joseph SUNG

Professor Joseph SUNG (right) from Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, CUHK Medicine pointed out that age, gender, smoking, obesity and family history are the five factors related to the risk of developing colorectal cancer

Abstract

Our latest findings revealed a global trend towards a “young-shift” in colorectal cancer, following the analysis of colorectal cancer data collected from over 100 million people from six countries and regions, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and Sweden. The findings were presented at the 2018 Digestive Disease Week (2018 DDW) in the US.
