「光陰似箭，日月如梭」，每個人心中對時間的觀念各有不同，而愛因斯坦的「相對論」則在時間定義上加上重力的影響！科幻電影Interstellar中描述男主角為了拯救人類的未來，毅然離開深愛的家人，到宇宙深處為人類尋找第二家園。然而當主角穿越蟲洞，到達最接近黑洞的星球探索時，卻因重力差別，令主角在星球過1小時等同在地球過了7年。當主角歷盡艱辛返回軌道太空艙時，看到女兒從地球傳來的視頻信息，眼前的女兒已由離開地球時的小女孩變成了中年科學家。主角非常感觸，在後悔拋棄家人的同時，亦懷疑找到地球以外第二故鄉的可能。在電影結尾，男主角和女兒再重聚的時候，女兒已經是近百歲老人。主角遺憾的並不是他們重遇時的年齡差別，而是他錯過了父女相聚的光陰！
